Terms of Service

English

These terms apply to CheepDoku (Korean title: 삐약도쿠, Japanese title: PiyoDoku), a logic puzzle game for Android and iOS made by WaveWorks ("we"). By using the game you agree to these terms. If a Korean and an English sentence differ, the Korean version applies.

1. The game

You place one chick in every row, column, and region so that no two chicks touch. The game works offline and without an account. Your progress, settings, items, and purchase status are saved on your device.

2. Use

• You may use the game for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You must not modify game files or data, manipulate scores or rankings with automated tools, or reverse-engineer and redistribute the game.

3. Sign-in, ranking, and profile

This section applies to versions of the game that offer sign-in.

• Sign-in is optional. On Android you sign in with Google Play Games, on iOS with Sign in with Apple. Everything else in the game works without signing in.
• When you sign in, your progress is saved to our server and you can join the weekly ranking. The ranking shows your nickname, avatar, and weekly score.
• Nicknames and mottos must not contain profanity, hate speech, impersonation of others, or personal information. We filter some words automatically. If a nickname breaks this rule, we may reset it or remove your ranking entry.
• If we find manipulated scores, we may remove the scores and limit your access to the ranking.
• You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved progress, profile, and ranking entries from our server. Weekly score distribution totals that cannot identify you remain.

4. Items, membership, and paid products

• Magnifiers and hints are in-game items. They can be used only in the game and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred.
• The Chick Club (Gold) membership is free. Signed-in players can join after clearing the daily puzzle 7 days in a row. Membership lasts 30 days and gives sign-in rewards and Gold-only profile items.
• Paid products are the Starter Pack, permanent Remove Ads, 1-week and 1-day Remove Ads passes, and magnifier and hint packs. Prices are shown in the store and on the purchase screen.
• Remove Ads removes interstitial and banner ads. Rewarded ads that you choose to watch for a reward remain available.
• The Starter Pack and permanent Remove Ads are tied to your store account and can be restored with [Restore Purchases] in the shop. Timed passes and consumable items are stored on your device. If you delete the app or change devices, items you have not used and the remaining time on a pass may not be recovered.

5. Ads

The game shows interstitial and banner ads, and rewarded ads that you choose to watch. You receive a reward after the rewarded ad finishes. If the ad fails to load or ends early, you may not receive the reward. Ad content depends on the ad network.

6. Refunds

• Refunds follow the policy and procedure of the store where you bought the product (Google Play or the App Store). We do not process store payments ourselves.
• Under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, digital products that were delivered right away and have been used may not be eligible for withdrawal. The shop shows this notice before purchase.
• For unused products, payment errors, or duplicate charges, request a refund through the store. Contact us by email if you need help.

7. Data and liability

Data saved only on your device can be lost if you delete the app, change devices, or reset storage, and we cannot recover it. If you signed in, you can load the progress saved on our server. We are not liable for data loss on your device unless it was caused by our intent or gross negligence.

8. Changes and termination

We may change the game or end the service. We will announce the end of the service at least 30 days in advance on the store page or in the game. We will announce changes to these terms at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for changes unfavorable to you.

9. Intellectual property

The art, music, sound, text, and software of the game belong to WaveWorks. You may not copy or distribute them without our permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

이 약관은 웨이브웍스(이하 "회사")가 만든 Android·iOS 논리 퍼즐 게임 삐약도쿠(영문명 CheepDoku, 일본명 PiyoDoku, 이하 "게임")의 이용 조건과 회사·이용자의 권리와 의무를 정합니다. 게임을 이용하면 이 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

제1조 (게임의 내용)

행·열·구역마다 병아리를 한 마리씩, 서로 닿지 않게 놓는 퍼즐입니다. 게임은 계정 없이 오프라인으로 이용할 수 있고, 진행 정보·설정·아이템·구매 상태는 이용자의 기기에 저장합니다.

제2조 (이용)

• 이용자는 게임을 개인적·비영리 목적으로 이용합니다.
• 이용자는 게임 파일이나 데이터를 변조하거나, 자동화 도구로 점수·랭킹을 조작하거나, 게임을 역분석해 배포하지 않습니다.

제3조 (로그인·랭킹·프로필)

이 조는 로그인 기능을 제공하는 버전에 적용합니다.

• 로그인은 선택입니다. Android는 Google Play 게임즈, iOS는 Apple로 로그인합니다. 로그인하지 않아도 나머지 기능은 모두 쓸 수 있습니다.
• 로그인하면 진행 정보를 회사 서버에 저장하고 주간 랭킹에 참여합니다. 랭킹에는 닉네임, 아바타, 주간 점수가 보입니다.
• 닉네임과 좌우명에는 욕설, 혐오 표현, 다른 사람 사칭, 개인정보를 쓰지 않습니다. 회사는 일부 단어를 자동으로 거르며, 이 기준을 어긴 닉네임은 초기화하거나 랭킹 기록을 지울 수 있습니다.
• 조작된 점수를 확인하면 회사는 그 점수를 지우고 랭킹 이용을 제한할 수 있습니다.
• 이용자는 설정에서 언제든 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 계정을 삭제하면 서버에 저장한 진행 정보, 프로필, 랭킹 기록이 지워집니다. 이용자를 알아볼 수 없는 주별 점수 분포 합계는 남습니다.

제4조 (아이템·멤버십·유료 상품)

• 돋보기와 힌트는 게임 안에서만 쓰는 아이템이며 현금으로 바꾸거나 다른 사람에게 넘길 수 없습니다.
• 삐약 클럽(Gold) 멤버십은 무료입니다. 로그인한 이용자가 데일리 퍼즐을 7일 연속 풀면 가입할 수 있고, 30일 동안 로그인 보상과 Gold 전용 꾸미기를 받습니다.
• 유료 상품은 스타터 팩, 광고 영구 제거, 광고 제거 1주·1일 이용권, 돋보기·힌트 묶음입니다. 가격은 스토어와 결제 화면에 표시된 금액을 따릅니다.
• 광고 제거는 전면 광고와 배너 광고를 없앱니다. 이용자가 보상을 받으려고 직접 고르는 보상형 광고는 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다.
• 스타터 팩과 광고 영구 제거는 스토어 계정에 묶여 있어 상점의 [구매 복원]으로 다시 받을 수 있습니다. 기간 이용권과 소모성 아이템은 기기에 저장하므로, 앱을 지우거나 기기를 바꾸면 쓰지 않은 아이템과 남은 이용 기간을 되찾지 못할 수 있습니다.

제5조 (광고)

게임은 전면 광고, 배너 광고, 이용자가 고르는 보상형 광고를 보여 줍니다. 보상형 광고를 끝까지 보면 보상을 받고, 광고가 뜨지 않거나 중간에 끝나면 보상을 받지 못할 수 있습니다. 광고 내용은 광고 네트워크 사정에 따라 달라집니다.

제6조 (환불과 청약 철회)

• 유료 상품의 환불과 청약 철회는 구매한 스토어(Google Play 또는 App Store)의 정책과 절차를 따릅니다. 회사는 스토어 결제를 직접 처리하지 않습니다.
• 「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」 제17조 제2항에 따라 구매 즉시 지급되어 사용한 디지털 상품은 청약 철회가 제한될 수 있습니다. 상점 화면에 이 사실을 표시합니다.
• 사용하지 않은 상품, 결제 오류, 중복 결제는 스토어 절차로 환불을 요청할 수 있습니다. 도움이 필요하면 문의 메일로 알려 주세요.

제7조 (저장 정보와 책임)

기기에만 저장한 정보는 앱 삭제, 기기 교체, 저장 공간 초기화로 사라질 수 있고 회사가 복구해 드리지 못합니다. 로그인했다면 서버에 저장한 진행 정보를 불러올 수 있습니다. 회사는 고의 또는 중대한 과실이 없는 한 이용자 기기에서 생긴 정보 소실에 책임을 지지 않습니다.

제8조 (서비스의 변경과 중단)

회사는 게임의 내용을 바꾸거나 서비스를 중단할 수 있습니다. 서비스를 중단할 때는 중단일 30일 전까지 스토어 상세 페이지나 게임 안 공지로 알립니다. 약관을 바꿀 때는 시행일 7일 전(이용자에게 불리한 변경은 30일 전)까지 같은 방법으로 알립니다.

제9조 (지식재산권)

게임의 그림, 음악, 소리, 글, 프로그램은 회사에 권리가 있습니다. 이용자는 회사의 허락 없이 복제하거나 배포할 수 없습니다.

제10조 (준거법과 관할)

이 약관은 대한민국 법률을 따릅니다. 게임과 관련한 분쟁은 「민사소송법」에 따른 관할 법원에서 다룹니다.
